Project #1

Shift-automation AI app

The person-dependent monthly shift-scheduling work, replaced with an AI app that produces reproducible operations.

Challenge

Shift-scheduling was entirely person-dependent; only one specific staff member could produce the monthly schedule
The volume of work was so high that monthly schedules could only be built in 2-week chunks instead of full-month
The allocation logic (sales targets, staff rank, priority stores, exclusions, chemistry) wasn't documented; it ran on tacit knowledge
The labor-cost reporting that used to be possible was no longer being generated

Intervention

Built the shift-automation tool from requirements through implementation (Convex + React, AI-accelerated development)
Externalized the tacit allocation logic into master data (stores, staff, ranks, constraint rules)
UI designed around 3 steps — auto-generate → manual adjust → violation detection — minimizing operator judgment load
Re-built the labor-cost reporting as an automatic output

Outcome

The shift-creation work is no longer one-person-dependent; others can now participate in operations
Tacit allocation criteria became reusable organizational knowledge
Through code-review partnership with the in-house engineer, we're building toward a long-term in-house operations capability

Project #2

Amazon Seller Central operations

We took the e-commerce operations workload — listings, ads — off the internal team.

Challenge

Listing management and ad operations on Amazon Seller Central were eating internal resources and blocking on-the-ground sales activity
E-commerce operations knowledge wasn't accumulating internally; operations were person-dependent

Intervention

Full ownership of Amazon Seller Central operations (listings, ads, inventory monitoring)
Standardized EC operations and clean reporting line

Outcome

EC operational load reduced; the on-the-ground team focuses on selling and customer engagement
EC operations run stably on the external team, so the internal side focuses on management

Product creative (video & imagery)

Pearl jewelry product creative produced continuously with zero internal burden.

Challenge

Continuous production of brand-quality product video and imagery wasn't sustainable internally
Each sales channel (EC, social, department stores) demanded different creative specs, making in-house production difficult

Intervention

Full ownership of product creative (video, imagery) — from planning to production to delivery
Operationalized variant production tuned to each sales channel's specs

Outcome

Internal creative production load eliminated; brand experience quality and output volume both rise
EC operations + creative production together carry the EC business as a unit
