4. Special Care-Required Personal Information

Except where you voluntarily provide it, such as in recruitment application documents, we do not collect special care-required personal information, including information on race, creed, or medical history.

We will not provide personal information to third parties without your prior consent, except in any of the following cases.

1. Where required by laws or regulations
2. Where necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain your consent
3. Where it is necessary to cooperate with a state organ, a local government, or a party entrusted by either of them in carrying out affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining your consent is likely to impede the performance of those affairs

6. Outsourcing (Use of External Services and Cross-Border Transfer)

To the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use, we may entrust part of the handling of personal information to external service providers. These service providers include companies located in foreign countries (primarily the United States). The main services we currently use are as follows.

Cloudflare, Inc. (USA)	Provision of an authentication service to prevent fraudulent form submissions

We exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over these service providers to ensure that personal information is handled appropriately. When we provide personal data to a third party located in a foreign country, we do so in accordance with the APPI. Information regarding the personal information protection systems of the destination country and other reference information is available upon request through the contact point set out in Section 10.

7. Security Management Measures

We take the following measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of the personal information we handle and to otherwise manage it safely.

• Organizational measures: We designate a person responsible for the handling of personal information and clarify where responsibility lies.
• Human measures: We inform relevant personnel who handle personal information about its appropriate handling.
• Physical and technical measures: To prevent unauthorized access to personal information, we restrict access privileges and take measures such as encryption of communications (SSL/TLS).
• Understanding of the external environment: Where we entrust the handling of personal information to a service provider located in a foreign country, we ascertain the personal information protection system of that country and take necessary measures accordingly.

8. Retention Period

We retain personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use or for the period prescribed by laws and regulations. Once that period has elapsed, or once the purpose of use has been achieved and retention is no longer necessary, we delete the personal information without delay. Where an applicant is not hired, information submitted for recruitment selection is appropriately disposed of after a certain period following the conclusion of the selection process.

9. Cookies

On our website, for the purpose of preventing fraudulent form submissions, we use the authentication service provided by Cloudflare described in Section 6, and cookies or similar technologies may be used in providing that service. These are not intended to collect information that directly identifies an individual. You can disable cookies through your browser settings; however, if you do so, some features of our website may become unavailable.

10. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, or Suspension of Use of Retained Personal Data

Upon request from you or your representative, we accept requests concerning the retained personal data we hold, including notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition, or deletion of the content, suspension of use or erasure, and suspension of provision to third parties. Please submit such requests to the contact point below. After verifying that the request is made by you, we will respond within a reasonable period in accordance with laws and regulations. Please note that we may charge a fee equivalent to actual costs for notification of the purpose of use and for disclosure requests.
