  2. Where necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain your consent

6. Outsourcing (Use of External Services and Cross-Border Transfer)

To the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use, we may entrust part of the handling of personal information to external service providers. These service providers include companies located in foreign countries (primarily the United States). The main services we currently use are as follows.

Information regarding the personal information protection systems of the destination country and other reference information is available upon request through the contact point set out in Section 10.

7. Security Management Measures

We take the following measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of the personal information we handle and to otherwise manage it safely.

8. Retention Period

We retain personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use or for the period prescribed by laws and regulations. Once that period has elapsed, or once the purpose of use has been achieved and retention is no longer necessary, we delete the personal information without delay. Where an applicant is not hired, information submitted for recruitment selection is appropriately disposed of after a certain period following the conclusion of the selection process.

9. Cookies

On our website, for the purpose of preventing fraudulent form submissions, we use the authentication service provided by Cloudflare described in Section 6, and cookies or similar technologies may be used in providing that service. These are not intended to collect information that directly identifies an individual. You can disable cookies through your browser settings; however, if you do so, some features of our website may become unavailable.

10. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, or Suspension of Use of Retained Personal Data

Upon request from you or your representative, we accept requests concerning the retained personal data we hold, including notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition, or deletion of the content, suspension of use or erasure, and suspension of provision to third parties. Please submit such requests to the contact point below. After verifying that the request is made by you, we will respond within a reasonable period in accordance with laws and regulations. Please note that we may charge a fee equivalent to actual costs for notification of the purpose of use and for disclosure requests.
